Elements of Magic…

…is the first of the core classes presented by Reclaiming. In this class we will explore our personal relationships with the elements of Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit.

Techniques that we will use in this class include breathwork, song, visualization, sensing, raising and working with energy, trancework, dancing, movement, spellcrafting, and creating sacred space.

Reclaiming is a magical tradition that reveres the earth, promotes social and environmental justice, and focuses on the development of personal spiritual power. For some, it is the chosen spiritual path. For others, it is a welcome supplement, reinforcement, and enhancement to existing spiritual practice.

This class is offered as six week series open to adults, of all genders The group will follow consensus process. Our intention is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for everyone involved

Classes will be Tuesday evenings March 13th - April 17th from 6:30 – 9:30 at the Portland New Church in Portland, Maine.

current mood: calm

I have called myself pagan for about 20  years now.  I am a Reclaiming witch and have been on that path for the past two years.    I live in Portland with my hunny and our three fur babies.  While my day job is in a law office, I am a writer and artist and hope one day to make my living that way.  I am also active in the Maine peace and justice communities and have recently made connections with other pagans in th area who are also active.

I don't really have plans for this community other that to have a space for Maine Pagans on LJ.  I am totally willing to let it evolve into whatever it will end up being.

Greetings and welcome to a community for Maine pagans.

I will post an intro a bit later, I just didn't want the community to be blank.
